Successful condition discharges for Archaeology and Landscaping in Dacorum Borough

Prism Ag assisted a client to successfully discharge two pre-commencement conditions attached to a full planning consent, the conditions applied by Dacorum Borough Council were for an Archaeological Assessment and a Landscaping condition to plant native trees.

  • The Archaeological assessment condition was due to a historic environment record of a known 15-metre wide chalk Saxon ditch on another area of the farmland and to check whether the ditch continued into the proposed development area.
  • The Landscaping condition was to ensure that new trees native to the Chiltern Hills AONB area are planted to provide screening of a large agricultural storage building in the open landscape.
