2025 Screening & Scoping Decisions:
EIA Screening Opinion – Sports & Leisure Development on Agricultural Land at the Former Isurium Brigantum, North Yorkshire

In 2025, Prism Ag Rural Planning obtained an Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) Screening Opinion for a proposed multi-use sports and leisure development on agricultural land once part of a well documented former Roman era settlement in North Yorkshire. The scheme included sports pitches, gym with café, running and cycle tracks, play park, landscaping and associated infrastructure. The site’s historic setting, linked to the Roman settlement of Isurium Brigantum, was the key factor requiring a full EIA.
