Full Planning (retrospective) granted for the winter housing of livestock in an agricultural pd building in West Yorkshire
The client approached Prism Agriculture Ltd for assistance with rural planning matters following the grant of a 1 year temporary planning consent in 2018.
The 1 year temporary permission was granted for the housing of agricultural livestock within a detached agricultural building previously erected under agricultural permitted development rules. The building was within 400m of both a protected and listed building and therefore was not permitted for the housing of livestock.
Full (retrospective) Planning Permission was granted for the overwintering of livestock following a successful Planning Committee meeting, subject to condition that the building shall not be used by livestock for any purpose other than between the months of November to April (inclusive).
