Class Q success in South Yorkshire
Prism Agriculture Ltd was granted approval for the conversion of a redundant agricultural livestock building to form a pair of single storey semi-detached dwellings in South Yorkshire
The proposed conversion building was previously used as part of a former Council owned dairy farm within the Green Belt.
The proposal utilises the existing steel portal-framed and concrete block former livestock building, retaining the visual agricultural character within the landscape to enhance the overall setting of the site whilst providing two new dwellings.
The permission was secured under Class Q of the Town and Country Planning (General Permitted Development) (England) Order, which allows for the conversion of redundant agricultural buildings to form 'up to' five dwellings, subject to the proposals meeting a set criteria.
