Prism Agriculture Ltd was granted approval in the Green Belt for the conversion of an agricultural machinery building to form a pair of 1.5 storey (mezzanine level) semi-detached dwellings near Sheffield
The proposal utilises the existing steel portal-framed and concrete block agricultural machinery building, retaining the visual agricultural character within the landscape to enhance the overall setting of the site whilst providing two new dwellings.
The permission was secured under Class Q of the Town and Country Planning (General Permitted Development) (England) Order, which allows for the conversion of redundant agricultural buildings to form ‘up to’ five dwellings, subject to the proposals meeting a set criteria.
